Sure, there’s work to do, but it’ll still be there in another fifteen minutes. Maybe you promised your friends you’d meet them for lunch, but you still have plenty of time if you hit snooze just one more time… Maybe there’s a reason your protagonist is so reluctant to get out of bed today – a particularly comfy bed, particularly good company, or a really late night. Or maybe they just feel like getting a little more sleep! Write a story about sleeping in. If your submission features cats (of any age), it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
